As IGN’s exclusive month-long IGN First coverage of Tekken 8 concludes today, we’ve got four new Tekken 8 characters to reveal to you: Devil Jin, Zafina, Alisa Bosconovich, and Lee Chaolan (plus a bonus appearance by Panda). Check them out in the trailer above, and for a quick recap of the other 26 characters that had already been confirmed, read on below.

Tekken 8 is due to be released on January 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. But before then, the final two fighters will be revealed on November 2 and November 12.

Jin Kazama: Tekken 8’s poster boy and primary protagonist, Jin is the son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama and fights using Karate. In Tekken 8, he’s looking to kill his father and put an end to the Devil Gene, hoping that will help him atone for the terrible things he’s done.

Kazuya Mishima: Tekken 8’s primary antagonist, Kazuya Mishima is fresh off of the defeat of his father, Heihachi Mishima, in a grudge match for the ages; now, he’s looking to settle the score against his son, Jin. In Tekken 8, Kazuya remains the head of G Corporation and is using the vast resources at his disposal (and the power of the Devil Gene) to wage war against the world. He practices Mishima-Style Fighting Karate.

Jun Kazama: Returning to a main series Tekken game for the first time since Tekken 2 is Jun Kazama. Jun is Jin’s mother and a former wildlife surveillance officer for a wildlike conservation group, Jun has a propensity for communicating with animals. She disappeared without a trace seven years ago after being attacked by a being named Ogre. Where she’s been and what she’s been doing in the intervening years is a mystery. Jun practices Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts.

Paul Phoenix: A longtime Tekken combatant known for his iconic Phoenix Smasher, aka the Death Fist, Paul returns utterly destitute in Tekken 8 after the previous King of Iron Fist Tournament was suspended when Heihachi Mishima disappeared. He’s been training with Law since, hoping to win the next tournament and cash in. Paul’s fighting style insmade up of integrated martial arts based on Judo.

Marshall Law: Tekken’s obligatory Bruce Lee stand-in returns in Tekken 8, nunchucks and all. Plunged into poverty by his son’s motorcycle accident and the subsequent loss of his dojo, Law has agreed to split the prize from the next King of Iron Fist tournament with Paul if one of them wins. Right now, the two are training in the mountains to prepare.

King: Everyone’s favorite jaguar-mask-wearing luchador, King is back and ready to hit you with all sorts of throws, so you’d better be crispy on your techs. King may look scary, but he also manages an orphanage and is fighting to raise funds to help all the children orphaned during the war between the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation.

Lars Alexandersson: Heihachi Mishima’s illegitimate son, Lars is a former member of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s elite unit: the Tekken Force. However, he led a coup and took many of the Tekken’s Force’s elite with him. Now, Lars has formed an alliance with his former enemy, Jin, to try and take down Kazuya Mishima once and for all.

Ling Xiaoyu: Xiaoyu is a Chinese martial arts master who practices Baguazhang, a fighting style that emphasizes speed, evasion, flips, and spins to keep her opponent guessing. Xiaoyu begins Tekken 8 searching for Jin Kazama, who she has feelings for, with Panda, her bodyguard.

Jack-8: Jack-8 is the latest and greatest model of the Jack series, G Corporation’s attempt at creating the ultimate humanoid weapon. Like previous models, Jack-8 uses brute force to pummel his opponents into submission.

Nina Williams: Known as the “Silent Assassin,” Nina Williams was the former head of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s Tekken Force who left the organization after failing to capture Jin Kazama. Now, she works for G Corporation, serving as commander of G Corporation’s forces and answering only to Kazuya Mishima himself. Her elegant style and dual handguns will make quick work of anyone who gets in her way.

Asuka Kazama: Another master of the Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, Asuka is reportedly the cousin of Jin Kazama and well-known for being a peacemaker. Her rivalry with Lili, which started when Asuka defeated the heiress at The King of Iron Fist tournament, has escalated to the point that Lili has bought her dojo.

Leroy Smith: A Wing Chun master who’s a hero in New York City for ridding it of gangs, Leroy initially entered The King of Iron First Tournament to shut down the Mishima Zaibatsu. Now, however, he and his dog, Sugar, have their sights firmly set on taking down Kazuya Mishima and G Corporation.

Hwoarang: Jin’s rival dating all the way back to Tekken 3, Hwoarang is a Taekwondo master best known for his powerful kicks and multiple stances. He enters Tekken 8 dissatisfied with the conclusion of his last fight with Jin, and trying to decide what to do next.

Lili: A wealthy heiress from Monaco, Lili loves to fight, though her father doesn’t approve, and owns a cat named Salt. Her obsession with defeating Asuka Kazama after Asuka beat her at The King of Iron Fist Tournament led to Lili’s decision to purchase Asuka’s dojo and formally challenging Asuka to a rematch.

Bryan Fury: Bryan Fury is a reanimated zombie cyborg who fights using a form of kickboxing and communicates in smirks and fits of maniacal laughter. Bryan’s main goal is to cause carnage and create chaos wherever he goes.

Claudio Serafino: Claudio is a powerful exorcist and the former leader of the Marksmen of Sirius who was first introduced in Tekken 7. After being used and betrayed by Heihachi Mishima, he has dedicated himself to helping Ling Xiaoyu find Jin Kazama. His fighting style is a mix of traditional martial arts and sorcery.

Feng Wei: A master of Taijiquan who follows the teachings of the God Fist scrolls in order to be a transcendent warrior – the Dragon God. Following his defeat at the hands of Leroy Smith at the last King of Iron Fist Tournament, Feng Wei obsessively trains to defeat him, even going so far as to work for G Corporation to ensure the rematch happens.

Azucena Milagros Ortiz Castillo: The “Coffee Queen” Azucena is making her series debut in Tekken 8. An MMA Champion and skilled coffee farmer, Azucena uses her profile as a fighter to promote Ortiz Farm, her family’s coffee farm in Peru. In her ongoing quest to become the best in the world, she plans to enter the next King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Raven: A ninjutsu master and agent of the UN, Raven is tasked with special forces missions all over the world. Before the events of Tekken 8, he spends six months in intense training, managing to master the “Shadow Clone” art before he is ordered to return to a world in conflict.

Leo: Leo is from Germany and practices Bajiquan, a Chinese martial art renowned for utilizing elbow and shoulder strikes to deliver explosive power at close range. As Tekken 8 opens, he is searching for answers regarding the disappearance of his mother, who was researching the Devil Gene at G Corporation.

Steve Fox: Steve Fox is a middle-weight boxing champion renowned for his technique. After searching for the truth about his past and learning Nina Williams is his mother, Steve sets out to carve a new path forward for himself and master a new fighting style.

Kuma: Kuma is the Japanese word for bear, which is appropriate given that Kuma is an actual bear. Heiheachi Mishima’s pet and a former member of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Kuma loyally waits for Heihachi’s return. To honor his master, Kuma wears Heihachi’s outfit and belt, and continues to perfect his Mishima-style techniques. He’s also working on a secret weapon to turn the tide of the war, because of course he is. What a good bear.

Yoshimitsu: Yoshimitsu is more of a title than a name; the current Yoshimitsu is the wielder of the Manji Ninjutsu and current head of the Manji Clan. After investigating a cave rumored to be used by the Mishimas for exorcisms. After discovering a Mishima Zaibatsu archive, his sword Yoshimitsu becomes possessed by a demonic aura. Yoshimitsu decides to follow the blade’s lead to track down the corruption at the source.

Shaheen: Introduced in Tekken 7, Shaheen works for a private military film and specializes in CQC, or Close Quarters Combat. After his best friend Salim is killed by a G Corp plot masterminded by Kazuya Mishima, Shaheen sets out to avenge his death.

Sergei Dragunov: An assassin known as “The White Angel of Death,” Dragunov practices Combat Sambo and is feared around the world for his prowess in battle. After the last King of Iron Fist Tournament is canceled when Heihachi Mishima goes missing. Afterwards, Dargunov is granted an extended leave. Excited by the prospect, he decides to cross some items off his bucket list.

Panda: Like Kuma, Panda is a practitioner of Heihachi-Style Advanced Kuma Shin Ken. as well as Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard. When Xiaoyu sets off to find Jin Kazama, Panda comes along to keep her safe — and coordinate her outfits so Xiaoyu always looks her best if they find him.
