In the opening hours of the game, you will trek through the stunning but hostile Tradia Desert. Teeming with monsters hidden beneath the sand, the landscape is comprised of dangerous, beautiful rock formations that tower over the dusty plane – so don’t stop and admire the view for too long, or you might get caught in the jaws of a sandworm. The Nord Mines offer an equally inhospitable but gorgeous vista, featuring a winding labyrinth of vibrant stone and minerals amidst deadly enemies.
Grand Trad
For those interested in a safer, more leisurely exploration of Euchronia, look no further than the capital Grand Trad, offering a metropolis full of life and culture within the great walls that protect the city. With plenty of shops along the main street, players can browse magic igniters to wield the elements, stock up on arms and gear for their journey, and peruse the merchants’ stands for supplies. After shopping ‘til you drop, stop by the Hushed Honeybee Inn for a hot meal and friendly faces.
Tree of Prophecy
Perhaps you feel like hitting the road? Climb aboard the Gauntlet Runner and go for a ride to one of many vista locations, with stunning views begging to be captured by an artist’s brushstroke. Take a moment to admire the resplendent Tree of Prophecy, a magla hotspot, bewitching all who witness it with its incredible beauty and astounding presence.
Port Brilehaven
The flourishing Port Brilehaven, located in the Principality of Oceana, is another must-visit. A hub for many merchants, Port Brilehaven is known for its free-spirited atmosphere, ocean breeze and occasional tempests. At Port Brilehaven, the world is your oyster: you can catch a trip on a ferry, spectate (or take part in) battles in Varmareno Coliseum, and trade with merchants peddling unique wares.
Oceana
Be prepared to brave the wild seas during your travels through Oceana! Awaiting brave sailors are nature-defying water formations, including a spectacular spot where the sea appears to be split in two. Just don’t get too enamored with the otherworldly phenomena – monsters roam the deep, and tales of visitors being dragged below are not uncommon.
