Mick Gordon, the composer for the forthcoming Atomic Heart, has further explained his decision to donate his entire fee to Red Cross Australia’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal, via a statement to Eurogamer. Writing on Twitter yesterday, Gordon said he donated the fee “to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine”. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium February 2023 games have leaked via the ever reliable Billbil-kun from Dealabs. These games are Horizon Forbidden West, Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Borderlands 3, with Billbil-kun promising “more to come”. CD Projekt Red’s commitment to removing vulva textures from The Witcher 3 is “not intended as a statement against nudity or mature themes” it said. The next-gen update for The Witcher 3 accidentally included realistic genitals for female monsters, which were not part of the original game. XDefiant, the one-time Tom Clancy branded free-to-play shooter from Ubisoft, is holding another closed Insider test later this week, this one marking the first time cross-platform play will be available on consoles and PC. Minecraft developer Mojang is gearing up for this year’s big 1.20 release, and following on from last week’s revelation it’ll finally introduce the game’s long-delayed archaeology system, the studio has now confirmed it’ll also usher in a new cherry blossom biome and sniffer mob. The sniffer, you might recall, came out top among Minecraft players during last year’s Minecraft Live mob vote, beating out two other options: the Rascal and Tuff Golem. Microsoft has issued a statement in response to its own admission that titles entering Xbox Game Pass sell fewer copies in the 12 months following their addition to the service. Sony has confirmed that, as we all suspected, Cosmic Smash is being revived for PlayStation VR2. Just for a quick bit of background, Cosmic Smash initially launched all the way back in 2001.
