The next, currently unannounced, game from Tango Gameworks has leaked ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct event tomorrow night. As shared on social media by prolific Dealabs leaker BillbilKun, the game is said to be called Hi-Fi Rush, or Project Hibiki. Following HBO’s announcement last week that The Last of Us was its second most-watched premiere in over a decade, the broadcaster has revealed that Episode 2 secured the largest week-two audience growth for an HBO Original drama series in its history. As reported by Variety, a combination of official figures and data gathered by Nielsen points to a viewership of 5.7 million on HBO and HBO Max for The Last of Us’ second episode, which marks a 22% increase on the premiere’s 4.7m viewers. Supermassive Games has announced a three-week delay for Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, which is now expected to release on 16th March. Mac Walters, one of the architects of BioWare’s Mass Effect franchise, has moved on from EA’s famed RPG studio. Walters publicly confirmed his departure over the weekend, after more than 19 years at the company. The Crew 2’s latest update, Season 7 Episode 2, is now available. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has reached out to Xbox staff across the company, acknowledging that it’s been “a difficult week” and that while “this week’s actions were painful choices”, it “set [Xbox] up for the long-term success of our products and business”. Physical copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will shortly be available to buy for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is set to release in Europe, North America, and “select” – albeit unspecified – territories from 26th January, 2023.
