The Devil’s Playhouse, which initially released all the way back in 2010, features yet more anarchic escapades from cult comic book artist Steve Purcell’s crime-fighting dog and bunny duo Sam & Max, this time pitting the pair against Eldritch gods, alien warlords, and more in a battle to control an ancient, otherworldly power. Microsoft is set to broadcast an “intimate” Xbox showcase later this month, featuring appearances from the likes of Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Minecraft Legends. That’s according to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, who claims the showcase – reportedly titled Xbox Developer_Direct – will air on Wednesday, 25th January at 12pm PT/8pm in the UK. Citing a “variety of sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans”, Corden says the showcase will focus on content from Xbox and Bethesda, offering an “intimate” look at “major” first-party titles for 2023. Deadpool film director Tim Miller has taken over Borderlands reshoots from Eli Roth. As Deadline reports, Roth has not been fired but has moved on to Thanksgiving, a horror film based on a mock trailer Roth made for Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse film. A snippet of early footage showing an upcoming, under-wraps PlayStation 5 project nicknamed “Ooze” has reportedly appeared online. The video appeared on reddit over the weekend, though is only just a couple of seconds in length. An early – and playable – prototype for Left 4 Dead has reportedly leaked online.
