Microsoft’s head of gaming Phil Spencer has discussed possible price increases across the Xbox line, acknowledging that while the company has so far maintained prices for its consoles, Game Pass, and games, it will “at some point…have to raise the price on certain things”. The PC release of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection had the weakest launch of all Sony titles thus far. Nathan Drake’s final foray into the world of treasure hunting made the transition to PC last week. Xbox hardware revenue has grown by 13 percent, as Microsoft gaming reports its best ever Q1 financial results. Yesterday the company published its financial figures for its first quarter up to 30th September. As Bethesda’s month of Fallout 25th anniversary celebrations continues, Amazon has joined in the fun by sharing the first official image from its upcoming live-action Fallout television series. Redfall, the vampire-hunting co-op shooter from Arkane Austin, is getting into the spirit of the spooky season with a new trailer showcasing the titular town’s vampiric denizens. It’s all a lot more atmospheric than previous showings for the game – which have predominantly focused on the camaraderie and quippery of its four playable heroes – and ramps up the spookiness by highlighting the varied vampire opponents waiting to be encountered in Redfall, Massachusetts. Black Adam will finally join MultiVersus later this week, following the release of the DC film over the weekend. Black Adam was first confirmed as part of the game’s content in season one back in August alongside Stripe from Gremlins.
