Rare’s classic Nintendo 64 shooter Perfect Dark has been decompiled, meaning PC ports and mods will now be possible. Coder Ryan Dwyer is behind this, working on both the launch NTSC version and a later re-release that fixed various bugs (thanks VGC). We can now expect PC players to have plenty of fun improving the visuals of the game, or simply messing around with Joanna Dark, Elvis the alien and more. Nintendo has announced it’ll be bringing its Switch Sports servers back online tomorrow, 18th October, with players affected by the recent downtime getting an extra week added to their Nintendo Switch Online membership. Gotham Knights will be limited to 30FPS and not include a performance mode for consoles on its release later this month. This news was confirmed by Gotham Knights’ executive producer Fleur Marty via Discord. Here, Marty explained this was “due to the types of features” included in the game, adding the additional option of a performance mode would not have been “as straightforward as lowering the resolution and getting a higher FPS”. Marty highlighted the game’s “highly detailed” open-world setting and its untethered co-op gameplay as two of the reasons the upcoming game does not “have a performance/quality toggle option”.…

I’ve never actually seen the TV show before but from what little info I could gather, it seems like a bad idea to fuck with the Peaky Blinders. That’s exactly what I did in this episode of VR Corner (above) though and, to be honest with you, the consequenses are nowhere near as bad as the Shelby’s make them out to be. In fact, I had a pretty good time!Earlier this week, I was granted access to a press demo of Peaky Blinders that allowed me to smoke my way through the first few levels of the game. And I…

Following Overwatch 2’s fairly shambolic release that involved targeted DDoS attacks, Blizzard has reported interruptions this week to Battle.net via a further DDOS attack, causing login issues. In addition, Overwatch 2’s character roster has had to be downsized a tad to allow Blizzard to “iron out a few bugs”. Unfortunately for the developer, however, this has created a new bug of its own, resulting in even more characters becoming inaccessible for some Overwatch 2 players. On the official customer support Twitter account, Blizzard addressed the DDoS attack faced by Battle.net yesterday. This has reportedly now all been dealt with, however…
