A PlayStation trailer listing that suggested EA Motive’s upcoming Dead Space remake will launch for PS4 as well as PS5 is a mistake, Eurogamer understands. EA’s latest trailer for the game was published today on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel for Latin America, which has 664,000 subscribers, and wrongly labels the revived survival horror as coming to both PS4 and PS5. A co-operative Persona 5 Royale strategy card game is releasing next year. Atlus has confirmed that it’s partnering with Pandasaurus Games to publish the card game designed by Emerson Matsuuchi, whose prior work includes the tabletop games Century: Eastern Wonders and Foundations of Rome. “Players will take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world in this cooperative card-based strategy game,” Matsuuchi said. It looks like the long-awaited System Shock remake will finally release on Steam in March 2023. Though not formally confirmed by the developer Nightdive Studios, Steam has updated the game’s store listing to reveal a March 2023 release date and pre-orders are now open. The upcoming release was also spotted and shared by industry insider, Wario64, although some commenters were unsure if this is a real, concrete release date or just an end-of-year placeholder. Persona 3 Portable and Persona Golden 4 are coming to “modern” platforms next year. Although we already knew that the ports were on the way, we finally have a firm release date; in a tweet posted to Twitter earlier today, publisher Atlus revealed that the two games will be coming to current- and last-gen systems, as well as PC and Switch, on 19th January, 2023. Amazon Games has outlined its plan for MMO Lost Ark with a new development roadmap. From now until the end of the year, the team is hoping to introduce three new raids – Mystic Abyss Vycas Legion, and Achates Trial Guardian – as well the Reaper Advanced class in November, and the Summoner Advanced class in December. “The next few months mark the road to the Brelshaza Legion Raid — one of the most challenging, unique, and beautifully dangerous raids in all of Lost Ark,” the team explains. Square Enix has warned of an attempted hack of the account management system used in Final Fantasy 14. A post on the Lodestone blog advises on precautions for guarding against unauthorised account access, including resetting your Square Enix password. “We are currently experiencing an attack by a third party that is attempting to gain access to the Square Enix Account Management System by using a combination of email addresses and passwords that appear to have been obtained from other online services of other companies,” reads the post.
