A PlayStation trailer listing that suggested EA Motive’s upcoming Dead Space remake will launch for PS4 as well as PS5 is a mistake, Eurogamer understands. EA’s latest trailer for the game was published today on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel for Latin America, which has 664,000 subscribers, and wrongly labels the revived survival horror as coming to both PS4 and PS5. Over the last ten years, I’ve interviewed many of my childhood heroes – those talented coders I used to read about in the pages of Crash or Your Sinclair. But today is different, because back in 1982, not only did Kevin Toms create a smash hit game, he invented a whole new genre. “Conceptually, it was very different to most games,” he explains to me via Skype. “At ZX shows, I had to constantly explain it was a football management game, and they’d go, ‘oh, okay’.” Often confused for some sort of weird text adventure, it was an abstruse concept…

In a ‘twist’ that everyone saw coming, that mysterious face that Hideo Kojima was teasing along with his new game at TGS last month is indeed that of Elle Fanning. A new QR code was found at the PAX Aus gaming convention, with the enigmatic words “where am I?” written across its front. The code was found next to a poster of the same cryptic silhouette. Scanning this code then leads to a new website and a picture of, yes, Elle Fanning looking back at you, as you can see below from the shot I took on my phone when…

Unless you decide to cut up a novel and then stick the pages together in the wrong order or something. You can watch someone else play a game, and there are now…
