Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is getting a new Galactic Edition on 1st November that’ll include the base game and a total of 13 Character Packs. To date, developer TT Games has graced The Skywalker Saga with seven DLC Character Packs – Solo, Rogue One, The Bad Batch, Trooper, The Mandalorian’s first and second seasons, plus a Classic Character Pack – pushing the game’s playable character roster well over the 400 mark. Firaxis’ Marvel-themed tactical RPG Midnight Suns will, following a number of earlier delays, finally launch for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 – but the previously announced Xbox One, PS4, and Switch versions are still missing in action. CD Projekt has introduced a new free modding tool for Cyberpunk 2077 to make adding mods easier. The REDmod tool is available to download from Steam and CD Projekt directly, which allows users to install and integrate mods into the game. Those who pre-ordered Stalker 2 are seeing their purchases refunded. A report from XGP (via VGC), reveals that those who had pre-ordered the game have been receiving messages informing them that their orders have now been cancelled. The message goes on to state this is due to the fact that Stalker 2’s release date has been pushed back to an “unconfirmed date in the future”. Square Enix has announced the next expansion mission for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, which will release on 26th October. Named Wanderer of the Rift, it will feature Gilgamesh – a recurring character in the series initially introduced as the antagonist of Final Fantasy 5. Ahead of its official unveiling at tomorrow’s Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, new rumours have emerged surrounding Skydance Media and Amy Hennig’s upcoming Marvel title. Announced last October, few official details have so-far been shared on the project beyond the fact it’ll be a “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure” set in the Marvel universe. Lars Gustavsson, creative director on the Battlefield series, is leaving its developer DICE after more than 20 years at the studio.
