Konami’s much-talked about “unannounced game” could be a new Suikoden title. A renewed trademark for the game – filed back in July, but only recently spotted – has popped up in Mexico, leading some to speculate that if Konami’s upcoming TGS spot doesn’t involve Castlevania, Metal Geat Solid, or Silent Hill, then it just may be about a new installment of the classic RPG series. Wizards of the Coast has apologised for a Dungeons & Dragons update that included “offensive material” and racial stereotypes about a race called Hadozee. Sony and Tencent have increased their shareholding in Elden Ring developer FromSoftware. Sony now owns 14.09 percent of the Japanese company, while Tencent, via its Sixjoy subsidiary, now owns 16.25 percent. Apex Legends has set another record, setting a new minimum daily peak count of 329,041 players on Steam last month. As that only reflects the number of players on Steam and doesn’t account for the thousands of players hot-dropping on console, too, it’s a significant milestone for Respawn’s fan-favourite battle royale, and is further bolstered by the shooter’s recently revised concurrent player peak, which was also broken earlier this month.
