Paradox Interactive has unveiled Toxoids, a new Species Pack DLC for Stellaris that’ll bring the “most stubborn species in the game’s history” when it comes to PC on 20th September. Toxoids will give players the tools to “gamble the future of their planets for immediate gains” on release, with empires featuring the new species able to grow and adapt faster than most creatures – albeit often with nasty consequences for their neighbours and themselves. A new listing implies that Biomutant will be getting a Switch release this October. The listing, spotted by GoNintendo, can be found on Portuguese site Gaming Replay. Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden has a release date: 13th September across Switch, PS4 and PC (Steam). It’s the third game in Square Enix’s Voice of Cards series that presents a turn-based RPG entirely through cards. Developer Endnight Games has announced “one last” delay for Sons of the Forest, with the horror-survival sequel now set to arrive on 23rd February next year. Following July’s announcement that Ubisoft would be “decommissioning” the online portions of some of its older titles on 1st September, the publisher has said it’s postponing the move to 1st October in many cases, and that Anno 2070 will now escape unscathed. A number of Steam curator groups have been removed from the platform after a developer managed to figure out they were in fact scammers. BROK the InvestiGator, developed by solo indie dev Cowcat Games, released on 26th August on Steam and GOG. On Steam, Cowcat noted that BROK had received mostly positive reviews from players, gaming sites and curators alike. Activision is currently battling to contain a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay leak that popped up online last night. The campaign gameplay appears to have originated from Twitter account @3rbbcod. It shows new vehicle mechanics, including hijacking, leaping from vehicle to vehicle and vehicle destruction.
