Since its release last week, fans have been diving into the files of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. It has turned out some interesting stuff, such as a potential scrapped multiplayer mode for the game. Most recently, however, dataminers have found evidence that Sony is looking into releasing its own PC launcher in the future (via VGC), with references to such a project being tucked away inside Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. It’s something of an industry joke that iconic 90s shooter Doom is playable on almost anything. Now it’s playable on a tractor. There’s a more serious background to this, though. As Wired reports, a hacker known as Sick Codes presented a new jailbreak for John Deere & Co. tractors at the DefCon security conference in Las Vegas. Digital locks are imposed on vehicles by manufacturers, preventing farmers from modifying and repairing their own equipment. Paradox, the developer of strategy game Crusader Kings 3, is doubling the price of the game’s DLC packs. Currently priced at $6.99 (£5.19 in the UK), the Flavour Packs will cost $12.99 from 13th September. In a forum post (thanks TheGamer), the developer said it was “altering the prices of our Flavour Packs (Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia) to reflect the overall value of this kind of content moving forward”. The Pokémon Company International has announced its commitment to global organisations in support of children and minority groups. A subsidiary of The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Company International is responsible for the Pokémon brand in all regions other than Asia. As the Pokémon series has hit 25 years since its first game was released (Pokémon Red and Blue in 1996), the company has pledged to donate at least $25 million over five years to organisations across the world dedicated to “improving the lives of children and supporting social equity”. A new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to change the design of Johnny Silverhand to match his appearance in the original TTRPG. Project 2020 from modder ErebusEquity, available on Nexus Mods, includes tabletop appearances, original looks, and multiple face swap and hair swap options, as spotted by TheGamer. A new leak for Warner Bros.’ brawler MultiVersus has revealed that both Stripe from Gremlins and DC’s Black Adam will be joining the battle roster. As revealed by _FireMonkey on Twitter, the twosome can be seen in the game’s season one startup screen, which Warner Bros. set live a little too early.
