Code: To Jin Yong is a new wuxia game being developed by the Tencent-owned Lightspeed Studios that shows the power of Unreal Engine 5. Based on a series of novels by Chinese novelist Jin Yong, the game will explore the iconic characters and environments of the books and TV adaptations from over the years. Ubisoft briefly published a 20th October release date for its promising-looking Nintendo Switch sequel Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The company has yet to officially trumpet the date, but it was live for a while on Ubisoft’s store (thanks, Gematsu) ahead of today’s Nintendo Direct, which is scheduled for 2pm UK time. Whispers of a Metroid Prime remaster for Switch have been circulating for quite some time, but a new report has claimed Nintendo is finally almost ready to share the fruits of its labour, and will be releasing the long-rumoured game at the end of this year. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker originally had Link play theremin, rather than conduct the winds using his titular conductor’s baton. The detail comes from a 2003 issue of Nintendo Dream magazine, which popular YouTube channel Did You Know Gaming? has now translated.
