Evil Empire first discussed improving Dead Cells’ accessibility back in January, when it began canvassing players for feedback on how it could expand the game to better suit a wider range of needs. It then shared an update on its progress in May, detailing some of the accessibility options that were on the way. After…

Piano creeps in and trumpets growl as the sun rises on another puzzle in Please Fix The Road. Sunlight pours over this miniature diorama, which I destroy and twist and rebuild until, once the road is fixed, its figurines pop into fireworks and the whole set splits and morphs into the next. The presentation adds almost cinematic flair to this delightful puzzle game. Yet though it might look wholesome, Please Fix The Road is actually a fiendish little thing. On the surface it seems simple enough: as the title suggests, you just fix the road right? Slot in a couple…
The $449/£429 Ryzen 7 5800X3D is something a bit different from AMD, a processor that exists to demonstrate the power of the firm’s 3D V-Cache design for its upcoming Ryzen CPUs and fight off Intel’s 12900KS for the title of ‘fastest gaming processor’. It’s also something of a last hurrah for the surprisingly long-lived AM4 platform, which debuted back in 2017 and outlasted half a dozen Intel generations as Ryzen CPUs improved in leaps and bounds. So what exactly is a 3D V-Cache anyway? Let’s start with the basics. You can think of a processor’s cache as a place to…
Nearly five years after the last series entry, we finally have some concrete information about the new Forza Motorsport coming next year. While the eighth game in the series drops the number from its title, the presentation was all about numbers: 4K resolution and 60fps with real-time ray tracing, double the frame-rate that was shown in the 2020 teaser. Running games at 4K 60fps with RT is a tall order even for high-end PCs, so how can this be possible on Xbox Series X? To find out, we took a look at the two teaser trailers released so far -…
If you are looking to get your hands on Arkane’s upcoming vampire riddled RPG to play with your nearest and dearest, here is a quick heads up: you will only be able to save any progress you make in Redfall’s campaign if you are the host.Speaking to IGN, Redfall game designer Harvey Smith revealed, “whoever hosts the session, or whoever initiates the session… their progress is persistent for them. But [for] other people, it’s not. In terms of what missions you’ve unlocked and such, the host, their progression matters.”He went on to explain, “if you sign on with a friend…

Capcom has reactivated the previous versions of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 on PC, following player feedback. After the Capcom showcase, the publisher released a free upgrade across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, adding in ray-tracing, 4K support, and 3D audio.
