With that in mind, few games retain a vice-like grip on my affections decades on from release – but Lobotomy Software’s PowerSlave (or Exhumed as I knew it at launch) is a game for the ages. For me, it’s up there with Doom, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D as one of the greatest shooters…
High-end gaming can be expensive, and it can also take up a lot of time and space if you’re planning on building or buying a top of the line gaming PC. That’s where gaming laptops can make a difference, they’re great if you are on the move a lot but don’t want to miss out on your favourite MMO or FPS, and it can also save a lot of space in an office or bedroom. Even if you were trying to build a new PC, it’s still really difficult to get your hands on the Nvidia 30 series graphics cards…

Hello – as part of Souls Week we thought it would be nice to pick over some of our favourite pieces on the games of From Software from over the years. As ever, thanks in particular to our wonderful freelancers from over the years who have brought the site such riches. Thank you! Read more Source – eurogamer.net All content and images…
It’s always exciting to dive into a new JRPG from one of the genre’s veterans at the helm. Monark comes to us from Kazunari Suzuki, best known for his work on the Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei franchises, so it had a ton of potential. To its credit, it does introduce some fresh combat mechanics to an otherwise-straightforward tactical JRPG structure. But Monark continuously trips over itself elsewhere due to a disjointed story, static puzzles, and repetitive level design that made staying interested a lot harder than it could have been. Monark sets up a high-stakes story that takes…
