Tactical horror GTFO is bringing back Rundowns – and this time, they’re “here to stay”. The “iconic” Rundown 2.0 Infection is now available, reprising the inaugural Rundown that launched on the PC-only title way back in March 2020. Not come across Rundowns before? They’re a snazzy name for what is essentially a regular game update that also ushers in new time-limited expeditions. Up until now, they’d always replaced the existing one, but now Rundown 2.0 Infection is the first of a “planned rollout that will see every past GTFO Rundown since the game’s initial Early Access launch in December 2019…

Publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment has unveiled Hellboy Web of Wyrd, a new roguelite action-adventure based on Mike Mignola’s comic series that’s coming to Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. “Welcome to the Butterfly House,” teases the official announcement, “a mysterious manor of perverse angles and non-Euclidean geometry built by occultist Pasquale Deneveaux to open a gateway to the Wyrd, a vast, interdimensional web of wondrous and horrifying planes of existence beyond our world. When a B.P.R.D. agent vanishes inside the mansion, it’s up to Hellboy and his team of agents to uncover its forbidden secrets.” Specifics are a little thin right…
Tonight’s The Game Awards 2022 ceremony included a fresh excerpt from the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie, showing Mario himself get used to travelling via warp pipes. As is befitting his outsider status in the Mushroom Kingdom, Chris Pratt’s Mario has a rough ride in his first pipe, while being shown around by Keegan-Michael Key’s Toad. He’s also not that great at platforming yet, either. I love the music in this clip – a nice reworking of some classic Mario melodies. The clip ends with Mario reaching Princess Peach’s Castle. Let’s watch: Read more Source – eurogamer.net All content and…

We have been given a fresh look at Phantom Liberty, the upcoming DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. And, in a turn up for the books, Keanu Reeves isn’t the only famous face to make a showing. Reeves, who will be reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand on the DLC’s release next year, will be joined by none other than Idris Elba. Elba will be playing Solomon Reed, an “FIA Agent for the New United States of America”. His character will be pivotal to the expansion’s story. Those in the market for a good beard that isn’t strapped to the face of Kratos have something new to look forward to; Life is Strange and Vampyr developer Dontnod has unveiled Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, coming to PC and current-gen consoles next year. Banishers, an action-RPG set in the frozen wilderness of North America circa 1695, follows the story of Antea Duarte and Red mac Rait – a pair of ghost hunters (and lovers) working to protect the living from the spectral dead. “Following a disastrous last mission, Antea is fatally wounded, becoming one of the spirits she…
