Little is known about Nightingale, the first game from studio Inflexion Games led by ex-Bioware boss Aaryn Flynn, but that’s soon set to change. First revealed at last year’s Game Awards, the Victorian-era “gaslamp fantasy” survival game is now set for an early access release in the first half of next year. For PC only and developed in Unreal Engine 5, it’s a game aimed at co-op PvE gameplay with no plans for PvP. Really, though, it’s the setting of this shared world that’s most intriguing. It’s been a long old wait for some substantial news, but Naughty Dog has finally confirmed The Last of Us Part 1 will be making its way to PC on 3rd March next year. The Last of Us Part 1 initially launched for PlayStation 5 back in September, giving Naughty Dog’s acclaimed 2013 stealth survival horror a significant makeover – and a PC version has been promised for quite some time. Kevin Conroy will voice Batman in Rocksteady’s upcoming release, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The news was shared this evening at The Game Awards, with an accompanying trailer which you can see below, and the news that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches 26th May on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X S, and PC. Conroy sadly passed away earlier this month after a battle with cancer. He voiced Batman for over 30 years, starting in the 90s with Fox Kids’ Batman: The Animated series, which would go on to run for 85 episodes between 1992 and 1995. Read…

In a first for developer Supergiant Games, the team is making a sequel, and oh what a sequel it looks to be. That’s right, Hades 2 has been announced. Revealed at this evening’s Game Awards, Supergiant introduced us all to the Princess of the Underworld. The Bayonetta series is getting a prequel named Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. The game will introduce Cereza before she becomes the titular witch. Tonight has finally brought us a look at what BioShock creator Ken Levine has been busy building – and it looks like a demented BioShock set in space. The minds at InnerSloth have revealed the team’s own, official, Hide and Seek mode. Unveiled at this evening’s Game Awards, this mode comes as part of Among Us’ “biggest update this year”. CD Projekt Red has announced plans to wind down support for Gwent, its Witcher card game spin-off, and laid out how it will hand over future balancing decisions to Gwent’s community of players. The game’s final 72 cards will release next year in three expansions, set to launch in April, July and September 2023. After this time, CD Projekt will transition from its own monthly balance changes to a system voted on by players.
