A new survey conducted by Elden Ring developer FromSoftware has revealed our favourite weapons, bosses, and more during our time in the Lands Between. Conducted by Famitsu and translated by FrontlineJP (thanks, NME), the survey was completed by 1700 people, the majority of whom (1509) were male and aged 25-29. Almost all respondents confirmed they loved the story and world of Elden Ring, as well as exploration, the field, and boss combat. Publisher Atlus wants to know if you’d like to play Persona on Xbox consoles. As first reported by Windows Central, Atlus has circulated a consumer survey to players asking a whole slew of questions about their gaming preferences. Xbox must work to “better meet expectations”, boss Phil Spencer has said, reflecting on yesterday’s bombshell delay of both Starfield and Redfall. Square Enix has released its financial results for the past year, which have kept afloat thanks to Final Fantasy 14. Net sales for the publisher were 365.3m yen, with 51m yen profit. Those net sales dropped almost 10 percent compared to the previous year, which saw the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Marvel’s Avengers. However, net sales in the MMO sector increased, due “not only to a sharp rise in the number of monthly paying subscribers for Final Fantasy 14, but also to the release of an expansion pack for the title”.
