Developer Asobo has finally shared a release date for Microsoft Flight Simualator’s previously delayed Top Gun expansion, with the free update now due to arrive on 25th May.Flight Simulator’s Top Gun expansion was announced last June as part of the Xbox and Bethesday Showcase. David Ward, co-founder of renowned game developer and publisher Ocean Software, has died at the age of 75. Ward founded Ocean with Jon Woods in 1983, and the Manchester-based company – initially known as Spectrum Games – would go on to become one of the era’s biggest publishers. Its extensive output spanned the 80s and early 90s, with a focus on arcade conversions and licensed games, including the likes of 1984’s legendary Daley Thompson’s Decathlon, and home computer versions of Batman, RoboCop, and the Addams Family. Details showing a leaked build of Duke Nukem Forever – as it was at E3 2001 – has appeared online. The leak comes from a person (or persons) known only as “x0r”, who has shared inside info as well as a video and screenshots. Newegg has reduced the price of the MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 12GB to $810, down from a US MSRP of $1290. Nintendo’s decision not to bring cult classic Mother 3 to the west was purely “business”, former Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aimé has said.
