Hitman 3’s forthcoming Freelancer roguelike mode has been pushed back. IO Interactive has published an update on its Hitman 3 – Year 2 content, following an announcement at the start of the year. The Freelancer mode will see Agent 47 off on a series of roguelike missions from a customisable safehouse, but IO has stated it needs more time. A musical based on BioShock from California’s John Burroughs High School Powerhouse choir has won the Hart Encore 2022 show choir competition. The choir performed a series of songs that together tell the story of Rapture, the iconic underwater city from the first entry in the game series. New data shows that the free-to-play Breath of the Wild-like Genshin Impact has surpassed $3bn in player spending worldwide for its mobile versions. Former Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aimé has revealed his misgivings on the launch of Game Boy Micro – a project he said his company was “forced” to launch despite its concept being a “nonstarter”.
