Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island is getting a “facelift” next week.Whilst Raven Software was taciturn on the details – confirmation of the facelift was the full extent of its recent social media tease, along with the words “Reloaded and Reinforced” – sleuthy fans have already put the accompanying image under the magnifying glass.Read more Source – eurogamer.net All content and images belong to their respected owners. There are “no plans” to scale back the development of Babylon’s Fall despite its less than stellar launch earlier this month. Not only did the Square Enix and PlatinumGames collaboration launch to mediocre reviews, it struggled to attract much interest from players, too. Just two weeks after launch, Square launched a survey in a bid to help “bring everyone an even better game experience”, and now the team is keen for you to know that despite the issues, content up until Season 2 is “practically complete” and work on Season 3 is already underway.Read more Source – eurogamer.net All content…
If you’ve been running around the Lands Between, confident you’ve successfully whacked every potential illusory wall, I have bad news – it turns out that at least one secret opening requires you to strike it at least 50 times.According to this outrageously patient player on Reddit (thanks, PC Gamer), there’s seemingly an illusory wall in Volcano Manor that will only disappear once you’ve hit it 50 times. Grand Theft Auto 5’s ‘next-gen’ upgrade is the best version yet – but it could have been better
Grand Theft Auto 5 arrived this week with a new update designed to leverage the capabilities of the new wave of games consoles. That’s quite the thing: we’re talking about a title that first launched in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360 before being revamped for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With the arrival of this new premium edition, Rockstar’s mega-selling game now arrives on its third generation of gaming hardware with the promise of three quality modes, including the addition of hardware accelerated ray tracing features. We’ll be tackling platform comparisons in another article (truth is, we only…

After more than 24 hours offline – rendering a game whose single-player mode needs an internet connection almost entirely unplayable – Gran Turismo 7’s big patch is finally live and, as feared, it nerfs the credit payout of several events that had become favourite grinding spots for players. It’s a move that has caused considerable consternation amongst the Gran Turismo community, and understandably so given the ability to buy in-game currency on the PlayStation Store, with the game’s miserly in-game economy seemingly pushing players towards microtransactions. It’s feedback that hasn’t gone unnoticed, with the update accompanied by a note from…

After an hour in its presence, I’m a bit disappointed with Trek to Yomi. I expected something drenched in the influence of Akira Kurosawa, given the black and white styling of the game and samurai subject matter – something thoughtful and slow. But what I found in the short time I spent with it was something predictable, unimaginative, and a little dull.Trek to Yomi is made by Shadow Warrior studio Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver – two of the reasons it stood out last summer in an E3 showcase. It’s a 2.5D platform-combat game that follows the tired…
