When we first began developing Karma: The Dark World, we never imagined it would come this far. This project began in a tiny studio in Shanghai — just three of us, sitting back-to-back, pouring our souls into this strange idea born from pain and memory. For us, this is nothing short of a dream coming true.

This platform has long been a home for creativity and bold narrative experiences. And now, we finally have the chance to share the full vision of our psychological thriller with the Xbox community.

Karma: The Dark World a narrative-driven psychological horror game set in a parallel 1984-like dystopia. You play as an agent of the Leviathan Corporation, a powerful and oppressive force that controls minds and technology. But reality begins to distort. Your sense of time collapses. New visual filter for Xbox Series X|S
For players on Xbox, we’ve introduced a platform-exclusive visual filter system. Inspired by retro displays and broadcast signal degradation, this optional feature adds a unique emotional tone to the experience and gives returning players a new way to interpret the game’s atmosphere. Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian world where the Leviathan Corporation is omnipresent. The year is 1984, the place is East Germany, and things are not quite what they seem.
You are Daniel, a Roam Agent for Leviathan’s Thought Bureau, and you have been brought in to investigate actions that have happened in a very specific moment in time. A moment which opens the mind to a world of espionage and betrayal, littered with deep and dark secrets.
