In Welcome to Empyreum, players will take on the role of one of the newly hired employees. Their goal? To keep this enigmatic hotel clean while cooperating (or not) to earn the best reviews from the guests.
Although their personalities and stories are very disparate, the four main characters have one thing in common: they all lost something when they arrived at the hotel! Tommy has been transformed into a humanoid lizard, Miriam can’t remember someone very important to her, Apolo can’t play the piano anymore and everything seems to be going wrong for Elisabeth – what a way to start a new job!
Making beds, vacuuming, or mopping are tasks you’ll need to agree on!
To recover what they’ve lost, they must work their way up through the hotel, floor by floor, until they reach the director’s office, Beatriz, facing unique challenges in each scenario. From washing sheets to make the beds, vacuuming, spraying carnivorous plants, or feeding gummy bears, anything is possible! You and your friends must be ready for any unexpected situations.
Some guests will test your cooperation.
The players’ progression involves not just cleaning rooms but also uncovering the mysteries of the Empyreum Hotel and its intriguing director, Beatriz. Talk to the guests between levels or take the opportunity to change outfits; each character has their own story and motivation for working at the hotel, adding an extra layer of depth and humor to the game.
Romantic suites for couples of cats, a spa, a nursery and even a medieval castle haunted by ghosts – the Hotel Empyreum is designed to meet the needs of all types of guests, and there can’t be a single upset customer!
