Dark Horse Books has revealed The Art of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a new hardcover book offering an in-depth look at the creation of the upcoming GSC Game World title.

The Art of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a 208-page hardcover book featuring developer commentary and a wealth of concept art and other behind-the-scenes material. The book spotlights the characters, creatures, items, and environments featured in the game.
“The atmosphere has always been a fundamental part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe – the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone is one of our main sources of inspiration,” said Ievgen Grygorovych, Game Director and CEO, in a statment. “We are glad to have the opportunity not only to pay tribute to the art aspect of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, but also to convey the feeling of being in the Zone to our players in another way. I would say this artbook is a passion project coming from our own passion project – and thus it feels significant.”
The Art of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is priced at $49.99 and will be released on May 27, 2025 in bookstores and May 28 2025 in comic shops.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on November 20, 2024. It’s one of the biggest games still to come in 2024.
