Diablo 4’s Season 10 Adds Infernal Chaos to the End-Game Helltides

    • Chelsea Leah, Blizzard Entertainment

    Summary

    • Diablo IV’s 10th season, Season of Infernal Chaos, brings game-changing features to the wave-based Infernal Hordes activity.
    • The amped-up Infernal Hordes include new Chaos Waves and a new family of chaos monsters.
    • Season 10 is available in Diablo IV today!

Do you like a little chaos in your Helltide? Are you one of those who thrive on the end-game, wave-based activity of the Infernal Hordes? If so, welcome to Diablo IV’s Season of Infernal Chaos, where we’re cranking the Infernal pandemonium up to 11.

Get ready to have your gameplay loop boosted with brand-new, game-changing features that will permanently upgrade both the Seasonal and Eternal Realms. This isn’t just a new coat of paint; we’re dropping a whole new engine of destruction into the heart of Diablo IV.

    Riding Out the Chaos Waves

In the Burning Hells’ Infernal Hordes activity, you’re challenged with time-limited waves of monsters. It’s a gauntlet of fighting, collecting the spoils, and choosing boons to boost your builds.

This season, we’re introducing Chaos Waves to the mix. While you’re carving through demons, Chaos Offerings will appear, transforming a standard wave into a volatile, rule-breaking crucible of mayhem. These high-intensity trials will test your skills with ramped-up difficulty, and the rewards are massive. You’ll have to master many combinations of carnage—one moment you’re dodging deadly projectiles raining from Chaos Rifts, the next you’re hunting down a rampaging Hellwyrm or chasing erratic Aether Goblins.

If you survive, you’ll walk away with a ton more Aether. It’s pure chaos, and it’s glorious. We’ve also reworked all the Infernal Offers between waves to make every choice a game-changer for your run.

Meet the New Boss and His Crew

Straight from the burning depths, a new monster family has clawed its way into Sanctuary: the Chaos Monsters. Born of smoke and brimstone, these fiends add a new layer of strategy, with some granting powerful shrine-like buffs upon death.

And who’s leading this symphony of slaughter? None other than Bartuc, the Lord of Chaos. This all-new boss fight is waiting for you to master his mechanics, so you can end his cruel influence across Sanctuary. Defeat him on Torment tiers to earn class-specific Unique Chaos Perks: the ultimate status tools for any seasoned demon-slayer.

Want a little taste before jumping in? Check out the Bartuc gameplay trailer below:

    Level Up Your Chaos Game

Of course, a season wouldn’t be a season without some fancy progression. You’ll earn Viz-Jaq’taar Veneration by sealing Chaos Rifts that appear in Helltide and Nightmare Dungeons. Progress through the Seasonal Reputation board to unlock a suite of Magic, Rare, and Legendary Chaos Perks that customize your build.

Want to make those perks even stronger? Collect Infernal Warp by sealing rifts and slaying Chaos Monsters to upgrade your new powers. It’s time to perfect the ultimate chaos-crushing build.

The Season of Infernal Chaos isn’t coming—it’s already here. The only question left: can you handle the heat? Gear up, head to Sanctuary, and show the hordes of hell what true chaos looks like.
