Gamescom 2023 is finally here, and to kick off the event, Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live event, filled with new announces for upcoming games, including Alan Wake 2, Mortal Kombat 1, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, along with some new game reveals.

Starfield Live-Action Trailer Teases the Spacefaring Adventures to Come
Following a performance by Starfield composer Inon Zur, Starfield got a live-action trailer that teases some of the spacefaring adventures ahead for the much-anticipated game that is set to arrive on September 6 or September 1 for those with Early Access.
Starfield director Todd Howard also joined Geoff Keighley onstage to share a bit more about Bethesda’s first new universe in over 25 years.
Zack Snyder Reveals Rebel Moon’s Explosive First Trailer and Part 2 Release Date
Zach Snyder’s Rebel Moon received its first full trailer at gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 and it features an Anthony Hopkins-narrated look at the Netflix movies in action. The trailer is filled with space travel, guns, flaming swords, mythical creatures, aliens, robots, explosions, and so much more.
Rebel Moon – Part 1: Child of Fire will be released on Netflix on December 22, 2023, and Part 2: Scargiver will arrive on April 19, 2024.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Trailer Shows Off First Level
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 fans were treated to an extended look at gameplay from the game’s first level, which is called Operation 627. Sure, it was great to see the game in action, but the big news was that it will send players to Verdansk, the setting of the original Warzone.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 10, 2023.
Tekken 8 Release Date Revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live
Alongside a new trailer, Bandai Namco revealed at gamescom Opening Night Live that Tekken 8 will officially be released on January 26, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. We also caught a glimpse of the game’s single-player moder that looks to honor the old and wonderful days of the arcade scene.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Latest Trailer Focuses on Ninth-Century Baghdad
Assassin’s Creed Mirage recieved a new gameplay trailer at gamescom ONL and it showcased a ninth-century baghdad and featured a full Arabic voiceover. Mirage stars Basim, a character who first appeared in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and it is set to be released on October 5, 2023.
Little Nightmares 3 Announced With a Trailer About the Spooky Co-Op Adventure
Little Nightmares 3 has officially been announced with a very spooky trailer that showcased co-op gameplay between two characters traversing a world we wouldn’t want to visit outside of a video game.
There was also one more surprise, as the team announced there will be a new podcast series called The Sounds of Nightmares, which is available later today and tells a whole new story in the game’s universe.
Black Myth: Wukong Trailer Is a Very Welcome New Look at Action-Packed Gameplay

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Gets February Release Date
Cygames shared a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink and revealed the action RPG will be released on February 1, 2023, on PS5, PS4, and PC. This will serve as a little bit of a delay, but that just gives Cygames enough time to make the game fans of the franchise deserve.
Nightingale ONL Trailer Reveals Further Early Access Release Date Delay
While we received a new trailer for the Victorian gaslamp fantasy-themed, shared-world survival crafting game Nightingale, it was confirmed its Early Access date is being pushed back a bit from this autumn to February 22, 2024.
Nightingale casts players as a Realmwalker who travel through portals in a procedurally-generated universe, and the universe iis filled with survival-crafting gameplay, quests, an evolving narrative, and more.
Crimson Desert Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Tons of New Mechanics
It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen or heard from Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert, but the wait is now over.
