    Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Plus is officially up for preorder, with both a Limited Edition and Standard Edition available. It’s set to release on October 1 in North America and Europe for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam and will set you back $99.99 for the Lucid-Noir Limited Edition or $59.99 for the Standard Edition. It’s worth noting that the physical versions of these editions are only available for PS5 users at the moment. The Xbox and Steam versions of the game will be available later in digital format.

    • Get it for PS5 at Amazon – $99.99

    For those interested in preordering the Lucid-Noir Limited Edition, there are quite a few different items you’ll get. Per the press release, the physical Lucid-Noir Limited Edition for PS5 includes:

    • Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus
    • Outerbox with artwork by Rui Komatsuzaki
    • PlayStation 5 SteelBook®
    • Spirited 6.5″ Shinigami plush
    • Noise of Neon Official Soundtrack

    And if you’re going the digital route for purchasing, the Digital Deluxe Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam includes:

    • Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus
    • Digital Art Book – The Book of Death
    • Digital Soundtrack – Noise of Neon

    There’s also a bonus novel for PS5 owners called “How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case”. According to the press release, “First-run physical copies for PS5 include a printed copy of the original novel, How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case. PS5 digital pre-orders for the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions come with a digital download version of the novel.”

    If you don’t want any of those extras, you can pick up the game itself for the lower price of $59.99.

    Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus (Digital Deluxe Edition)

    • Get it at PS Store (digital) – $69.99

    If you want some downloadable extras with a digital copy of the game, you can pick up the digital deluxe edition. It comes with the game, plus the following:

    • Digital Art Book – The Book of Death
    • Digital Soundtrack – Noise of Neon

    What is Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus?

    Originally released last year on the Switch as Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus is a more enhanced version of that game coming out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam that even comes with additional features. Per the press release, this version of the game includes 4K compatibility with “upgraded shading, textures, and graphics in 4K resolution”, reduced loading times, and “all previously released DLC from the Nintendo Switch version.”
