Former 3DS exclusive Monster Hunter Stories is coming to Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2024.
Announced during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on February 21, the remaster of Monster Hunter Stories arrives with full voice acting for the first and HD visuals. An in-game museum has also been added for players to peruse artwork and listen to the game’s soundtrack.
Players in the west will also be able to enjoy new content previously only available in the Japanese version of the 3DS game for the first time.
“Embark on a journey into a colourful world where mighty monsters roam and people make a living by hunting them,” the announcement reads.
“Nestled within this land lies a hidden village where the locals follow a different set of customs. Here, Monster Riders form bonds with Monsties instead of hunting them. Unlike Hunters, Riders forge bonds and harness the power of kinships stones, allowing them to explore the vast and exhilarating realm together. Fight together in thrilling battles, hatch Monstie eggs, and customise your companion to suit your style.”
