    After weeks of rumors and speculation, Nintendo’s latest Direct focuses on its publishing and development partners.

    The showcase is already up in its entirety on YouTube. But if you have not had a chance to watch it, we have compiled a roundup of every single game announced during this partner showcase. Read on to learn more about what was announced in the most recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.

    Obsidian’s Grounded and Pentiment are the First Xbox Games Coming to Nintendo Switch

    After it was revealed late last week that Xbox was planning to release four of its previously first-party games onto other platforms, today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that Obsidian Games’ titles Grounded and Pentiment are coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console.

    Pentiment will be released tomorrow, February 22, while Grounded will be released on April 16.

    A New Super Monkey Ball Game Is Coming This June

    During today’s showcase, Sega announced that a new Super Monkey Ball franchise entry is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on June 25.

    Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is the first new entry in the series in over ten years. Aside from being a new installment in over a decade, Banana Rumble introduces some new features to the series; most notably, this will mark the first time up to 16 players from across the globe can duke it out in multiplayer modes.

    Multiplayer modes aside, Banana Rumble will also include an Adventure Mode that includes 200 brand-new stages. Either tackle the levels yourself or with up to four friends via local or online play.

    Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection Announced

    Aspyr Media is back at it with another re-release of beloved classic Star Wars games, as the studio announced the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection today.

    As the name implies, Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is a compilation of the first two Star Wars Battlefront games. Alongside bundling the two games, it includes new content, including maps and characters. One of the new characters includes Jedi Kit Fiso, while Jabba’s Palace is among one of the new maps. A new mode called Hero Assault will also be available.

    Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is out on March 14 for Nintendo Switch, plus PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

    Classic Rare Games, Including Killer Instinct and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs Are Coming to Switch Online Today

    Some more classic Rare games from the NES, SNES, and N64 eras are coming way onto the Switch via Switch Online today.

    Killer Instinct (SNES), Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES), R.C. Pro-Am (NES), and Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll (NES) will all be available to Switch Online players. Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will also have access to the N64 game Blast Corps.

    Epic Mickey Rebrushed Is a Remake of the 2010 Wii Exclusive

    Epic Mickey, the 2010 platformer released on the Wii, is getting a facelift for the Nintendo Switch with Epic Mickey Rebrushed. In addition to upgraded graphics and other improvements, this remake will add new skills for Mickey to take advantage of.

    Epic Mickey Rebrushed is out sometime this year on Nintendo Switch.

    Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance Is a Revamped Version of the 2021 Switch Exclusive

    Released roughly three years ago as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, Atlus announced today a revamped version of Shin Megami Tensei 5 with the subtitle “Vengeance.”

    Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance is an enhanced version of the 2021 RPG with some new content, such as new locations, demons, and choices players can make. This enhanced version is a multiplatform release. Not only will it be released on its original platform, but it will also be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC when the game releases on June 21.

    Endless Ocean Luminous Is Coming to Nintendo Switch This May

    Another game franchise that appeared on the Wii made an appearance today. Endless Ocean Luminous is a scuba diving adventure game and the second sequel in the Endless Ocean franchise following 2010’s Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep.

    In Endless Ocean Luminous, players will venture across the Veiled Sea region to discover all the marine life inhabiting the area. According to the store listing, Luminous has over 500 species of marine life for players to discover.

    Endless Ocean Luminous is out May 2 on Nintendo Switch.

    South Park: Snow Day Announced for Nintendo Switch

    We already knew South Park: Snow Day, a new 3D co-op game, is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 26. Today, publisher THQ Nordic announced that the game will also be released on Nintendo Switch.

    Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist Is a Sequel to the 2021 Game Ender Lilies

    A sequel to 2021’s Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. In this dark fantasy metroidvania, players control Lilac, who is on a mission to save the kingdom.

    “We teased a sequel to ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights nearly two years ago, and we have received countless requests from our online community for a second adventure,” Binary Haze Interactive CEO Hiroyuki Kobayashi, CEO wrote in a press release. “It is an honor and a pleasure to announce our next title with the help of Nintendo during such a prestigious event. We have much much to share in the very near future, stay tuned!”

    Mother 3 Is Coming to Nintendo Switch Online (But Only in Japan)

    In the Japanese version of today’s Nintendo Direct, the company revealed that Mother 3, one of the most desirable Japanese RPGs in gaming history, is making its way to Nintendo Switch Online. Again, this only premiered during the Japanese version of today’s Nintendo Direct, meaning Nintendo Switch Online users based in Japan will only have access to Mother 3 when it hits the service.

    For years, Nintendo fans based in the West have asked Nintendo to localize Mother 3, with many resorting to unofficial means to access it; even series creator Shigesato Itoi said last year that he would “love for people in the U.S. to play Mother 3.”

    Monster Hunter Stories Is Getting Remastered For Modern Platforms

    With the Nintendo 3DS shop officially closed and physical copies of 3DS games not always the cheapest way of accessing games, owners of handheld and fans of Monster Hunter will be happy to know that the 3DS exclusive Monster Hunter Stories is getting remastered for Nintendo Switch, in addition to PC and PS4.

    Players will become Monster Riders as they hatch, raise, befriend, and battle monsters from the series. Monster Hunter Stories has no firm release date, but it will be released sometime this summer.

    Gundam Breaker 4 Announced, Out Sometime This Year

    2024 marks the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise. And as part of the commemoration, Bandai Namco announced a new entry in the Gundam Breaker series.

    Gundam Breaker 4 is touted to be the “biggest entry yet,” according to Bandai Namco, and it is the most recent entry in the series following 2018’s New Gundam Breaker.

    In Gundam Breaker 4, players create their mecha creations using parts from over 250 Mobile Suits featured in various Gundam series as they tackle various missions. According to a press release, Gundam Breaker 4 will also introduce a new feature allowing players to “use two different weapons for unique combos in their quest for the best parts to build the perfect gunpla.”

    Gundam Breaker 4 has yet to set a firm release date, but when it is released this year, it will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
