What Is Persona 3 Reload?
Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the original Persona 3 game — not the expanded FES re-release, so it doesn’t have the epilogue added for that version. But it has much improved graphics, more in line with Persona 5, but with a blue theme rather than a red one. It also sands down some of the more frustrating aspects of the original game, so for instance you don’t have to worry about broken social links anymore.
Persona 3 has a darker story than most other mainline entries in the series, including some rather disturbing imagery. Once again you play as a high school student who ventures to a monster-filled realm at night to battle evil. Check out our Persona 3 Reload preview for more info about what’s new.
