PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Additions for January Include Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Resident Evil 2

Sony has pulled back the curtain on the games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 come January 16, revealing a solid selection with lots of variety.

The lineup was unveiled in a PlayStation.Blog post. It’s a group with two main heavy hitters: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and the Resident Evil 2 remake. The former is Gearbox’s latest Borderlands spinoff and offers a mix of Dungeons & Dragons ideas with the same looter-shooter gameplay fans of the franchise love. If RPGs aren’t your thing, the Resident Evil 2 remake allows players to travel back to a fallen Raccoon City with an updated, rainy coat of paint. Both titles are available for PS4 and PS5 players.

Other highlights include the sci-fi physics experience Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PS5), the blocky adventure game Lego City Undercover (PS4), and the open-world destruction game Just Cause 3 (PS4). There’s also Session: Skate Sim, which is bringing realistic skateboarding gameplay to players on PS4 and PS5.

The rest of the new PlayStation Plus Extra gaming additions can be seen below:

· Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (PS4, PS5)

· Surviving the Aftermath (PS4)

PlayStation Plus Premium members net all of the previously mentioned goodies as well as a few other classics, too:

· Rally Cross (PS4, PS5)

· Star Wars: Episodes 1 The Phantom Menace (PS4, PS5)

· Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection (PS4)

· Legend of Mana (PS4)

· Secret of Mana (PS4)

These titles join a trio of games that came to Essential subscribers last week: A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West, Nobody Saves the World.
