Paradox Interactive’s sci-fi strategy game Stellaris is expanding once more, this time with a new Story Pack DLC focused on civilisations’ early encounters with alien visitors.
First Contact, as the newly announced DLC is known, will be Stellaris’ fifth Story Pack – mid-sized expansions designed to expand the game’s narrative potential – following on from Leviathans, Synthetic Dawn, Distant Stars, and Ancient Relics.
“For countless ages,” says Paradox in a bout of scene-setting, “your people have looked to the stars with wonder – is there anybody else out there? When we meet, will they be friends or enemies? Will we be the ones to discover them, or are they already here, hiding in plain sight?”.
