\nTears of the Kingdom did not copy from Elden Ring because no one on the Zelda team had time to play it, despite hearing about FromSoftware’s epic adventure.\n<\/p>\n

\nIn an interview with Dutch website NTL Nieuws<\/a>, Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s producer and director respectively – shared more about the game’s conception.\n<\/p>\n

\nWhen asked if the team had taken any inspiration from Elden Ring, a game that was in part influenced by Tears of the Kingdom’s predecessor Breath of the Wild, Fujibayashi had the following to say:\n<\/p>\n
