{"id":33847,"date":"2023-08-24T16:27:12","date_gmt":"2023-08-24T15:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xtremeservers.com\/blog\/todd-howard-confirms-starfield-has-new-game-plus\/"},"modified":"2023-08-24T16:27:12","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T15:27:12","slug":"todd-howard-confirms-starfield-has-new-game-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xtremeservers.com\/blog\/todd-howard-confirms-starfield-has-new-game-plus\/","title":{"rendered":"Todd Howard Confirms Starfield Has New Game Plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<section class=\"article-page\">\n<p>Starfield is just a few weeks away and ahead of its release, Bethesda&#8217;s Todd Howard has confirmed that Starfield will have a New Game+ mode.<\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"mobile-ad-break\"><\/section>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq-magazine.co.uk\/article\/starfield-todd-howard-interview\">an interview with GQ<\/a>, Howard confirmed that New Game+ does exist in Starfield, noting it was another way to incentivize repeat playthroughs for players.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Starfield delivers [Bethesda Game Studios&#8217;] most immersive role-playing since 2006&#8217;s Oblivion,&#8221; Howard told GQ. &#8220;It gives you the flexibility and options to carve out a unique identity, and even adds a unique and exciting twist on New Game+ to incentivize continued and repeat play.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Howard did not go into detail as to what exactly will carry over (like weapons and in-game currency) should you complete Starfield once and pursue a New Game+ save, but the confirmation of New Game+ is noteworthy as Bethesda Game Studios is not a studio known for adding such a feature in its games. <\/p>\n<p>Fans can find out for themselves when Starfield launches on September 6.
