The mod met with swift backlash, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/BaldursGate3\/comments\/18a4ryt\/please_dont_support_the_ser_aylin_mod\/\">one post on Reddit<\/a> urging fans not to support the mod earning more than 17,000 upvotes. The post notes that the mod is included in a collection that, among other things, seeks to remove people of color from Larian&#8217;s popular RPG.<\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"ignvideo\" data-slug=\"baldurs-gate-3-video-review\" data-loop=\"\"><\/section>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.nexusmods.com\/topic\/13457389-yedlike-banned\/\">post explaining the ban<\/a>, NexusMods said that the mod violated the site&#8217;s community rules by &#8220;appearing to reduce diversity in Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 by taking a same-sex couple and swapping the gender of one of the partners to make them heterosexual.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The post continues, &#8220;We are for inclusivity, we are for diversity. If we think someone is uploading a mod on our site with the intent to deliberately be against inclusivity and\/or diversity then we will take action against it. The same goes for people attempting to troll other users with mods deliberately to cause a rise. We aren&#8217;t the authority on what users can and cannot mod. Us removing a mod only means it cannot be found at Nexus Mods, nothing more, nothing less. As a private business, we have a right to choose what content we do and do not want to host on our platform. Respect this right the same way you want respect for your rights.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warning: Spoilers for Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 Act 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"divider\"><\/section>\n<p>Dame Aylin appears in Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3&#8217;s Act 2, where she quickly reestablishes her romantic connection with Isobel, who you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/wikis\/baldurs-gate-3\/Investigate_the_Sel%C3%BBnite_Resistance\">(hopefully) rescued at the Last Light Inn<\/a>. Larian Studios recently released Patch 5, which among other things <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/baldurs-gate-3-patch-5-makes-a-very-niche-community-character-canon\">adds a brand-new playable epilogue<\/a>.
