Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass May 2024 Wave 2 lineup of games, headlined by Ninja Theory\u2019s Hellblade 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First up on May 15 is puzzle adventure game Chants of Sennaar<\/a> (Cloud, Console, and PC). Then, on May 16, EA Sports NHL 24<\/a> will be available with Xbox Cloud Gaming via EA Play. Also via EA Play, on May 16 single-player, first-person magic shooter Immortals of Aveum<\/a> (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) hits PC Game Pass and Ultimate. IGN’s Immortals of Aveum review<\/a> returned an 8\/10. We said: “Immortals of Aveum is an impressively confident first-person shooter with a hearty solo campaign and fast-paced, spellcasting combat that\u2019s spectacular to watch.”<\/p>\n

May 23 sees Brightrock Games’ Galacticare (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) as another day-one Game Pass launch. According to the official blurb: \u201cYou are the Director of Galacticare, an interstellar healthcare company and quasi-voluntary savior of the Galaxy (for cash.) Build hospitals and recruit staff to satisfy the whims of various alien species and cure their bizarre illnesses. Save the (literal) Galaxy in story mode, or head into sandbox to design the hospital of your dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also on May 23, Hauntii (Cloud, Console, and PC) hits Game Pass as a day-one release. You play a brave yet naive little ghost, Hauntii, and set off on a quest guided by enigmatic Eternians. \u201cPossess, solve puzzles, and shape your fate in this captivating adventure,\u201d reads the official blurb.<\/p>\n

Moving on, May 28 sees Moving Out 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) join Game Pass. IGN’s Moving Out 2 review<\/a> returned an 8\/10. We said: “Moving Out 2 is a colourful and chaotic co-op sequel that tasks you with bending at the knees while consistently splitting your sides.”<\/p>\n

Action-puzzle game Humanity (Cloud, Console, and PC) hits Game Pass on May 30. IGN’s Humanity review<\/a> returned a 9\/10. We said: “Humanity is a beautiful, modern reimagining of Lemmings that blends many different genres into its clever puzzles, and its powerful level editor has dizzying potential.”<\/p>\n

Also on May 30 is another big-hitter: Lords of the Fallen (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S). Lords of the Fallen is a dark fantasy action-RPG published by CI Games in 2023 to critical and commercial acclaim. IGN’s Lords of the Fallen review<\/a> returned an 8\/10. We said: “Lords of the Fallen is an awesome soulslike with a fantastic dual-realities premise, even when performance shortcomings and wimpy bosses crash the party.”<\/p>\n

Microsoft also announced two games hitting Game Pass on June 4: horror puzzle game Firework (PC) and Rolling Hills (Cloud, Console, and PC), the latter of which is a day-one Game Pass release.<\/p>\n
