Though this is a place of daily deals\u2014the polar opposite of exorbitant prices\u2014let’s talk about the (suspected Australian) pricing of the new 30th anniversary range<\/a> of PS5 products. A known and legit leaker at Dealabs Magazine<\/a> has divulged some US prices, which allows us to extrapolate. TL;DR: the 30th DualSense<\/strong> should be A$125, and the PS5 Slim Digital console<\/strong> ought to be A$780-$800. The PS5 Pro Bundle<\/strong> isn’t mentioned, making this next statement an even bigger guesstimate: probably A$1700+.\n<\/p>\n

In retro news, I’m celebrating the 32nd birthday of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past<\/strong>, a true RPG classic. I co-played this around launch with my SNES-owning neighbour, and it was an all-consuming experience\u2014tense dungeon crawling\/puzzling, map drawing in exercise books, and critical intel swaps with other kids at school. Blind, pre-Internet adventuring was gruelling stuff that could stump you for days, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t also Triforce levels of magical when you won.<\/p>\n
