Welcome back to saving a bunch on top games while reminiscing on the retro greats that made us. I’ll be your host for today’s discounts, which include a slightly cheaper Black Myth: Wukong<\/strong> and $12 VR<\/strong> games for anybody who bought a PS VR2 to play the best of PCVR. That’s what I’ll be buying ’em for, at least.\n<\/p>\n

In olden times news, I’m equipping the Grunt Birthday Party Skull<\/em> for Halo 3<\/strong>‘s 17th. The AU launch for this was more or less a <\/em>life event for myself and many of you\u2014to the tune of 50K units ($6M) sold in 24 hours. Perspective check: That was one-in-four Xbox 360 owners, and a bigger dollar debut than the previous title holder, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King<\/strong> (the film). Personally, I was stoked to finally “finish the fight” and will always have core memories of doing it via 4-player co-op\u2014a feature first for the series. Oh, and the MP vendettas (forged on Guardian against Mark Serrels<\/a>) were a huge deal at the games mag offices I worked at, too.<\/p>\n
