It\u2019s actually Piranha Games\u2019 third game in the MechWarrior franchise, and follows 2013 MMO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/games\/mechwarrior-online\">MechWarrior Online<\/a> and 2019 single-player and co-op sandbox game <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/games\/mechwarrior-5-mercenaries\">MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries<\/a>, which sold more than two million units.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, MechWarrior 5: Clans \u201cbrings a story rich, linear-based single-player\/co-op narrative-driven action game to fans for the first time in decades &#8211; a complete departure from previous MechWarrior entries,\u201d Piranha Games said.<\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"slideshow\" data-slug=\"mechwarrior-5-clans-screenshots\" data-value=\"mechwarrior-5-clans-screenshots\" data-type=\"slug\" data-caption=\"\"><\/section>\n<h2>MechWarrior 5: Clans gameplay features:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Clan Invasion is Here: For the first time since MechWarrior 2 (released in 1995), pilots can immerse themselves in an action-packed Clan Invasion story &#8211; one of the most epic time periods in the franchise that changed the course of the Inner Sphere\u2019s factions and politics forever.
