Sneakerheads, sports fans and car lovers rejoice! As announced at gamescom 2024, Xbox and Forzaare teaming up with the iconic Jordan brand and NBA All-Star Luka Dončić to unveil new in-game content inspired by the new Jordan Luka 3 sneaker and its “Motorsport” colorway.
Clean, classic and seamlessly sculpted like top-of-the-line performance cars, the Jordan 3 Luka ‘Motorsport’ colorway pairs an ultra-clean white upper with touches of Jordan’s heritage black and red. Elephant print details and a metallic gold Jumpman logo give Luka’s latest ride some signature Air Jordan flair.
This shoe embodies what has made Luka Dončić such a dominant presence on the basketball court—and is fueled by his passion for cars off the court. Driven by this shared inspiration (and Luka’s impressive personal car collection), this collaboration brings design elements from the “Motorsport” colorway of the Jordan Luka 3 – released yesterday on Jordan.com – to a brand-new playing field through vehicle, wardrobe, and track options in the award-winning Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5 from Xbox.
Xbox and Forza worked directly with the five-time NBA All-Star and the Jordan team to select and design a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that sports color and trim details from the Jordan Luka 3 that will be featured in both Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon 5. Sneakerheads will be able to spot the shoe’s signature features on the car body.
In addition to the in-game car, Forza Motorsport players can put on a new racing suit that features matching nods to Jordan, Luka, and the new shoe. The Hakone Track is getting a flashy upgrade with exclusive Jordan Luka 3 designs, turning every lap into a high-octane celebration of sneaker culture. All this in-game content will be live and free to download in Forza Motorsport on September 9 and Forza Horizon 5 on September 10 and players can download the car from the in-game Message Center.
Beginning September 17, fans can visit the Microsoft Experience Centers in London, Sydney, and New York for an even more immersive Forza experience. Here, you can get behind the wheel of a racing simulator with a custom driver’s seat inspired by the Jordan Luka 3 “Motorsport” colorway and feel the unexpected speed of this partnership for yourself.
