Xbox Game Pass Lineup for Second Half of February Announced

Microsoft has confirmed the games coming to Xbox Game Pass during the second half of February.

Out today are first-person narrative adventure Return to Grace (Cloud, Console, and PC) and fantasy RPG Tales of Arise (Cloud, Console, and PC). Coming soon, on February 22, is Bluey: The Videogame (Cloud, Console, and PC). This game based on the hugely popular kids TV show got a 4/10 from IGN. “Bluey: The Videogame may look the part but, with shonky controls and barely two hours of gameplay, everywhere else it’s a dog’s breakfast,” we said.

Two games hit Game Pass on February 27: single-player action-RPG Maneater (Cloud, Console, and PC), and Madden NFL 24 (Cloud), via EA Play. (Madden NFL 24 is already on Game Pass Console and PC.) IGN’s Maneater review returned a 7/10. We said: “Maneater’s monster-shark feeding frenzy is fun but simple, and that lack of depth causes it to become repetitive as time goes on.” As for Madden NFL 24, we gave it a 6. “New animations and improved AI make Madden NFL 24’s on-field action the best it’s ever been, but everything that happens off the field is a slog of dated modes and laggy menus that brings everything around it down,” we said.

February 28 sees the addition of Lab Zero’s hand drawn action RPG platformer Indivisible, which also returns to Game Pass. IGN’s Indivisible review scored it an 8.8: “Indivisible manages to merge 2D platforming, thrilling combat, and a thought-provoking story resulting in one of the most wildly creative RPGs of the year.”

A day later, on February 29, sandbox game Space Engineers (Cloud, Console, and PC) hits Game Pass. Then, moving into early March, boomer shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) blasts its way onto Game Pass. IGN’s Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun review returned a 7/10. “Retro-shooting and fast-paced arenas suit the Warhammer 40K setting nicely, but Boltgun falls short of greatness because its ideas peter out too quickly. Some good level design and nice environments make up for a lack of variety,” we said.

As already announced, Blizzard’s Diablo 4 launches into Game Pass on March 28 as the first game to hit the subscription service from the developer following Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

Here’s the Xbox Game Pass February 2024 Wave 2 lineup in full:

    • Return to Grace (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 20
    • Tales of Arise (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 20
    • Bluey: The Videogame (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 22
    • Maneater (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 27
    • Madden NFL 24 (Cloud) EA Play – February 27
    • Indivisible (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 28
    • Space Engineers (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 29
    • Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 5

As always, Game Pass loses games alongside the release of new games. Leaving Game Pass on February 29 are Madden NFL 22 (Console and PC) via EA Play, and Soul Hackers 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC).
