Xbox Game Pass March 2024 Wave 1 Lineup Revealed

Microsoft has announced the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2024.

Out today, March 5, is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC). This boomer shooter take on Warhammer 40,000 got a 7/10 from IGN’s review: “Retro-shooting and fast-paced arenas suit the Warhammer 40K setting nicely, but Boltgun falls short of greatness because its ideas peter out too quickly. Some good level design and nice environments make up for a lack of variety.”

PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC) hits Game Pass on March 7. Then, on March 12, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (Cloud, Console, and PC) launches on Game Pass. IGN’s review returned a 5/10: “SpongeBob: SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated sinks under its reverence to nostalgia.”

A day later, on March 13, Control Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) launches into Game Pass. Control Ultimate Edition contains the main game and all previously released expansions (The Foundation and AWE). Our Control review praised Remedy’s supernatural third- person action-adventure, saying it “creates a captivating, oddball world that never loses the thread of its supernatural tale.”

Then, on March 14, Game Pass gets No More Heroes 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC). This one got a 6/10 from IGN’s review: “No More Heroes 3 is an amusing but extremely uneven sequel, with its entertaining bosses separated mostly by poor performance and barebones tedium.”

Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview) (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) hits Game Pass on March 19 as a day-one release. It’s an open-world farming exploration game with crafting, resource management and base building, wrapped in a mystery-driven narrative with a cosmic country soundtrack.

And finally, the big-hitter: MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) is available on day-one with Game Pass from March 19. Game Pass members can unlock up to four days early access plus deluxe edition bonus content if they buy the Digital Deluxe Add-On Bundle.

Here’s the Xbox Game Pass March 2024 Wave 1 lineup in full:

    • Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 5
    • PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 7
    • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 12
    • Control Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 13
    • No More Heroes 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 14
    • Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview) (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – March 19
    • MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) – March 19

As is standard, a number of games leave Game Pass as new games arrive. Here’s the list:

    Leaving Game Pass March 15:

    • Hardspace: Shipbreaker (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Shredders (Cloud, Console, and PC)
