There is also a variety of new missions, modes, and areas to explore, as well as expanded storylines. Death Stranding Director’s Cut offers two options: Performance mode with upscaled 4K and up to 60FPS, or Fidelity mode in native 4K – both with ultra-wide and HDR support. Thanks to the DualSense’s haptic feedback, players can also experience environment effects, and feel its adaptive trigger resistance. Death Stranding Director’s Cut will release on PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2021.
