    ID@XBOX Indie Selects Demo Fest Is Here!

    We’re excited to share that the ID@XBOX Indie Selects Demo Fest is live today, with more than 30 standout game demos ready to play across XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, and XBOX on PC. Just like our last Demo Fest, you can jump in and explore these demos anytime from June 4 through June 30.

    You can start playing today, and we hope you’ll enjoy discovering new favorites throughout the month. All demos are featured in the dedicated Indie Selects Demo Fest collection on the XBOX Store, and we’d love for you to share your feedback with the developers. As a reminder, these demos are early looks at games still in development, so the final versions may differ at launch, including availability by country as developers continue polishing their work.

    We’re also excited to share that 18 newly announced games, below, are coming to XBOX!

    Akatori (Contrast Games/Games Harbor)

    Akatori is an epic Metroidvania where you wield a staff to fight, leap, and explore realms across different eras. Battle powerful enemies and help Mako stop the Amber Storms threatening all living things.

    Alpha Nomos (RibCage Games)

    Play as Cello and cut through rogue puppets in a vibrant, music-fueled world. Time your attacks to the beat to unleash powerful combos and stylish, choreographed chaos.

    Canvas of Thoughts (Bandaloop Games)

    Canvas of Thoughts is a narrative experience where emotion shapes every conversation. Step into the world of Evi, an 11-year-old girl navigating school, social situations, and sensory input that can feel overwhelming, unpredictable, or quietly comforting. Each interaction is shaped by feeling rather than words.

    Rather than explain autism, Canvas of Thoughts invites players to experience one perspective from within, exploring perception, emotional processing, and the subtle ways people move through a world not always built for them.

    Charlatan (Gumgo/HypeTrain Digital)

    A slot-machine roguelike full of dirty tricks. Rig the reels and escape a cursed amusement park before it claims your soul.

    Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit (Spry Fox/Quantum Astrophysicists Guild)

    Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit is a cozy life-sim set on a haunted, ever-changing island. As a spirit scout, you’ll help ghostly residents move on while restoring color and warmth to the world around you.

    Build and customize your camp, befriend the island’s spirits, and explore the forest each day for new items, quests, and discoveries.

    With a world that changes over time and plenty to collect, craft, and uncover, Camp Spirit offers a steady stream of cozy surprises as you bring joy back to the island.

    Faeland (Talegames)

    Faeland is a 2D action-RPG set in a handcrafted medieval fantasy world. Create your hero and begin as a young hunter, then explore forests, ruins, swamps, mountain peaks, castles, and volcanic lands filled with secrets.

    The world is one connected map that rewards curiosity with shortcuts, secrets, and clever challenges. Combat emphasizes timing and spacing, with swords, axes, spears, whips, shields, bows, and tools that shape each fight and unlock new paths. Abilities and items also let you return to earlier areas to uncover what was once out of reach.

    A substantial underwater region adds its own movement, enemies, and discoveries. Meet characters, take on quests, and grow at your own pace as Faeland blends classic adventure with a modern feel. Find your path and make the realm your own.

    Farlands (JanduSoft)

    Farlands is a cozy space farming sim where you leave behind city life to settle on a remote planet at the edge of the galaxy. Restore the land, grow crops, gather resources, upgrade your home, and build a thriving farm.

    What sets Farlands apart is its blend of classic farming and sci-fi adventure. Travel between planets, meet memorable characters, complete tasks, and uncover the secrets of a small but charming solar system.

    Grim Trials (Glory Jam/Soft Source)

    Grim Trials is a heavy metal action-roguelite where you forge weapons and gear to embrace Death on your own terms.

    Play as Avelin, a young woman recruited as one of Death’s Reapers after an untimely end. Sent to hunt impure souls and confront her inner demons, she must survive the underworld’s trials to become a true Reaper and see her still-living love again.

    Hack and blast through hordes of enemies and the Seven Sinful Souls with customizable gear and a flexible skill tree that shapes every run. Unlock blessings that support your playstyle and become your own version of the ultimate Reaper.

    Kooeh: A Timeless Delight (Twilight Foundry Games)

    Kooeh: A Timeless Delight is a cozy, narrative-driven restaurant management game about reviving a family restaurant and rediscovering treasured recipes. Along the way, it celebrates Southeast Asia’s endangered animals and Malaysia’s rich teatime traditions.

    Order Automatica (New Beings/Better.Publishing)

    Order Automatica is a dark roguelike auto-battler where every move matters. Built on a simple 3×3 grid, it rewards smart positioning, timing, and synergy in fast-paced encounters. Easy to learn but hard to master, it feels like chess with demons, where one move can trigger deadly chain reactions.

    Build your party from occult characters, forbidden artifacts, and powerful Indulgences. Combat is automatic, but survival depends on planning ahead, adapting fast, and making smart choices.

    Inspired by Balatro, Inscryption, and Into the Breach, Order Automatica balances control and chaos, rewarding bold experimentation with endlessly varied runs. With distinct pixel art, an eerie atmosphere, and layered systems, it rewards players who love uncovering depth in simple rules. Simple rules. Endless strategies.

    Pieced Together (Glowfrog Games)

    Pieced Together is a cozy scrapbooking game about friendship and growing older. Sort keepsakes, solve gentle puzzles, and decorate your scrapbook as the story unfolds piece by piece.

    Pit of Goblin (Friendly Foe/Bright Gambit)

    In this online horror co-op game, you play as a scrappy goblin on a mission to feed the hungry King-Queen. Scavenge randomly generated dungeons, dodge traps, outsmart monsters, and steal whatever treasure you can. Team up with goblin pals or go rogue as you dive underground and cause chaos. Just don’t come back empty-handed, or you might become the next meal.

    Souls of Bombarika (Street Lamp Games/1312 Interactive)

    Souls of Bombarika is a supernatural adventure puzzle game where creativity shapes every encounter. Enter a haunting spirit world as Naksh, a young soul chosen to protect humanity from the chaos unleashed by the Bombarika brothers.

    Possess objects, redirect explosive attacks, and manipulate the environment to solve puzzles and survive intense boss battles. Along the way, you’ll meet lost souls and friendly spirits while uncovering a heartfelt mother-son story. The striking atmosphere, inventive mechanics, and story-driven design, offers a fresh take on the adventure puzzle genre.

    Starlit World (Rockhead Studios)

    Starlit World is an action-adventure about rebuilding a shattered home. When the sorceress Oli breaks apart Starlit Island, its people are scattered across dark floating lands.

    Play as Bo, a young Starkeeper, joined by Kikki on a journey to bring everyone home. Each trip into the Low Lands blends exploration, combat, and puzzles across frozen peaks and shifting deserts.

    Every Starlit you rescue helps restore the island, unlocking new areas, activities, and moments that bring it back to life. Progress is about more than strength – it’s about watching home come together again.

    Along the way, you’ll unlock more than 20 suits with abilities that let you fly, dig, move objects, and solve challenges in different ways. Play solo or in co-op from start to finish. It is so much more than exploration – it’s about connection, rebuilding, and making a broken world feel whole again.

    Surfpunk (Double Stallion Games)

    Surfpunk is a 1–4 player co-op Surf ’n’ Slash adventure where surfer-pirates ride jet-powered boards across procedurally generated islands, battling monster swarms and chasing loot. Surf, shred, scavenge, repeat.

    Join the Raiders as you scour the ancient ruins of a flooded world, fight through relentless enemies, and uncover treasure in a vibrant, anime-inspired tropical setting.

    The Slormancer (Slormite Studios/Plug In Digital)

    Battle hordes commanded by The Slormancer, a warlock from the past, in this absurd yet epic action-RPG. Expect fast-paced combat, plenty of loot and collectibles, hours of content, and beautifully crafted pixel art.

    Treetopians (Aparato)

    Treetopians is a cozy 3D colony sim where you build villages in the treetops and care for a growing community with unique needs and personalities.

    Expand across branches, manage resources, assign jobs, and help your Treetopians build friendships and thrive. Keep them happy to unlock new buildings and shape a playthrough defined by your tree and the community that grows within it.

    Wrap House Simulator (Console Labs/Broken Lyre Entertainment/PlayWay)

    Wrap House Simulator is a cooking adventure where you run your own wrap shop, prepping ingredients, grilling orders, and serving customers through the rush. Customize your restaurant, master the grill, and play solo or in co-op with up to six players as you build your dream wrap house.

    Slice meat, perfect sauces, and work with friends to keep impatient customers happy in a fast-paced kitchen full of sizzling skewers and fresh lavash wraps. Become the master of the wrap house!

    Alongside those newly announced titles, you’ll find a standout lineup of games to explore. Below is the full list of participating games and developers in this summer’s Indie Selects Demo Fest.
