“Moebius is clean, high-tech, and efficient—but also cold and detached,” explains Brand Director Jakub Izydorczyk. “It’s meant to feel safe, but not warm. We wanted players to feel like they were inside a machine that’s still running, even if no one’s really alive inside anymore.”

As ASKA, you are sent to this silent ark to rescue humanity’s electronic souls. Your investigation quickly leads you to a space elevator, a pivotal moment that marks a descent from synthetic order into primal chaos. Your destination: the planet Vulcan.

“Vulcan is not only a destination—it’s also a wound,” says Izydorczyk. “It’s raw, dangerous, and indifferent to your presence. But it’s also not empty. It holds echoes of the past, and you’ll feel that as soon as your boots hit the dust. Vulcan doesn’t welcome you—it watches you silently.”

This new world is a place of entropy and decay, littered with the scorched ruins and derelict structures of a failed colonization effort. Here, your journey is guided by the enigmatic NEXUS, a disembodied voice that offers crucial intel but never the full story. Standing in your way are the Engineers, semi-autonomous constructs now operating under corrupted logic.

“You’re not targeted out of hostility, but because the system no longer recognizes what you are,” Izydorczyk clarifies. “They see you as a deviation.” Between the cryptic guidance of NEXUS and the relentless attacks of the Engineers, every step on Vulcan pulls you deeper into a mystery that will determine the fate of humanity.

While Metal Eden presents a compelling mystery, the moment-to-moment experience is defined by its fast-paced, fluid, and vertical combat. We didn’t just want to make another shooter; we wanted to make parkour the central pillar of the gameplay. As a Hyper Unit, ASKA is built for speed, and you’ll need to use every bit of that agility to survive.

“We never want to overwhelm players, but we don’t want to hand everything to them either,” says Izydorczyk. “The world gives you pieces—sometimes through voices, sometimes through things you find—and you decide how deep to go. At the same time, threats are always nearby. It’s a game where looking around might save your life—or get you in trouble. That tension makes every choice matter.”
