When we began crafting the tale of a young girl and her mysterious companion nearly seven years ago, we never expected to find ourselves knee-deep in sequel territory. But as time went on and the universe of Planet of Lana grew along with our extremely talented team, the thought of not doing so seemed almost unbearable; There were simply too many questions that still needed answering. Too many puzzles that needed solving.

In the original Planet of Lana, players guided 11-year-old Lana through her perilous journey to rescue her sister and village from an alien robot invasion. Alongside Mui, her lovable (but peculiar) companion, players faced hostile robots and bloodthirsty wildlife while unearthing secrets buried deep beneath their homeworld, Novo. But, as it turns out, that was just the beginning…

Expanding the Story, Gameplay and World

Planet of Lana II explores Novo in the wake of Lana and Mui’s triumph; How has the world changed since the arrival of the robots? And perhaps more importantly; how has overnight access to modern technology changed its people? The answer forces Lana and Mui down a dark path paved with greed, danger and ever more questions about their planet’s mysterious past. But this time, Lana might not like the answers she finds…

In addition to sweat-inducing stealth sequences and nail-biting action platforming, Players can expect an expansion of the quirky puzzle solving mechanics fans have come to love; New robots, creatures, plants and machinery populate several new biomes including an icy mountain range, a tropical underwater world as well as an ancient forest.

Time has passed since their last adventure, and Lana and Mui have both grown, evolving in ways that will aid them on their journey. One of the things we are most excited to share with fans is the expansion of Mui and Lana’s collaboration, including their ability to hack and hypnotise different robots, machines and creatures in order to manipulate the environment and advance on their adventure!

While the signature charm and creativity is untouched, players can expect a bump in both fun and challenge level for both puzzle solving and platforming.
