The team here at Pawprint Studio is delighted to see Aniimo officially launch today, bringing the vibrant world of Idyll and its adorable creatures, the Aniimo, to players around the world. This is the chance for all of us to finally jump into the adventure, explore diverse regions, and discover the Aniimo who thrive across Idyll’s unique biomes.
First, we want to thank all the players who participated in our beta tests and shared feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and features. Your support and insights have helped us shape the game and reach the moment we have all been waiting for – global launch! I wanted to share with you how this feedback has contributed to the game’s development and what new additions you can expect to encounter!
Discover New Companions
At launch, players will be able to discover, meet, and collect more than 200 Aniimo. Among the newest additions are Squarrel and its evolution, Squashel. This energetic squirrel-like Aniimo rolls down hillsides while clutching its tail and attacks using fast-paced combo mechanics centered around its powerful tail abilities. It is a unique addition to the Aniimo roster and we think that players will have a lot of fun with it!
Gameplay Optimizations
Legendary Aniimo Event Improvements
Following important feedback from our pioneering Pathfinders, we redesigned the entire Irisalis encounter flow across three key areas: capture, gameplay experience, and the encounter ritual itself. This updated structure will also serve as the foundation for future Legendary Aniimo events, creating a smoother and more intuitive experience for players. Again, we’re grateful for the feedback on this gameplay sequence which has had a profound impact on how we view these events.
Aniimo Training Updates
We have also improved the way Pathfinders train and level up their Aniimo. Updates include a simplified Held Item System, increased Star Dust drop rates, and progression caps that now unlock naturally alongside an Aniimo’s level progression.
Homeland Gameplay Enhancements
We refined the overall level progression and upgrade experience within Homeland gameplay, while also expanding the map with additional features, activities, and interactive elements for Pathfinders to explore and enjoy.
Technical Improvements
Additionally, we’ve optimized controls for both mobile devices and gamepads to deliver a smoother experience across all platforms. We’ve also added multilingual voice acting to the main storyline and improved translation quality across all supported languages, creating a more immersive and seamless gameplay experience for players worldwide.

Enjoying camping and roadtrips with your friends
Each Pathfinder now owns a personal RV on the vast continent of Idyll, parked at a campsite in this open world, where they can meet and interact with other players. When you return to Homeland with your RV, you can plant crops, build decorations, and freely arrange your space with Aniimo to transform the entire Homeland into a warm, fun, and interactive immersive paradise.
